Carlos Bianculli began his music studies at the age of four at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory of Music in the city of Barquisimeto. Three years later, he began to study trumpet under the guidance of Gary Nuñez. He has also has studied with maestros Alfredo D’addona, Tomas Medina, Gaudy Sánchez, Max Sommerhalder, Fernando ciancio, Luis Gonzales, Jairo Hernández, Giancarlo Castro, Francisco Flores, Allen Vizzutti, Eric Aubier and Brian Neal.
Bianculli was a member of the trumpet section of the Youth Orchestra of Lara, the Lara Symphony Orchestra and the Teresa Carreño Symphony Orchestra, with which he toured Europe and Asia.
At the age of 18, he began his conducting studies (both choral and orchestral) with maestros Miguel Monrroy, Pablo Castellanos, Libia Gómez, and Thomas Clamor, and with professor Teresa Hernández in the city of Caracas.
In November 2014, he won third place in the youth category at the First Eric Aubier Latin American Trumpet Competition, held in Medellín, Colombia.
He is currently a member a of the Venezuelan 7/4 Ensemble.
